Aided by her expertise, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Prestigious professional organizations of which Dr. Efros is a member of include: the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Society of Hospital Medicine, and the American Geriatrics Society.

Among her volunteer experience, she is a supporter of the Animal Welfare cause of the Human Society of Marlboro County.
