Samuel is an ambitious physician associate & athletic trainer looking to excel in orthopedic medicine. He is the CEO and Founder of Castle Athletics & Recovery, providing soft tissue recovery treatment to decrease pain and optimize function.
Castle Athletics and Recovery was founded in 2018 with the intent to provide patients with optimal healthcare in a department that is heavily overlooked and undermined. The body takes on daily mechanical, mental, and postural stressors that can contribute to tissue restriction and toxin build up. Without proper treatment and education patients begin to suffer from aches, soreness and pains that many learn to live with. Through extensive research, education and analysis of anatomical function, treatments are catered to the specific needs of each client.
Graduating with his high school diploma from Florida Christian School in 2009, Samuel went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. He then earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Miami Dade College in 2021, and his Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Saint Francis University that same year.
Among his other titles, he serves as an athletic trainer at Premier Sports Medicine, LLC (January 2018 – present). He is also a certified Electrocardiogram Technician through the National Healthcareer Association, and holds certifications in FMT Blades IASTM and Functional Movement Screen.
On a professional level, Samuel is an active member of the International Society of Sports Nutrition.
Physician Associates (PAs) are certified healthcare professionals with a generalist medical education who work alongside doctors and surgeons providing medical care as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. PAs work under the supervision of a doctor but can work autonomously with appropriate support.
