Dr. Berg, originally from Los Angeles, California, has built a solid educational foundation for her medical career. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of California San Diego in 1991, followed by a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Dr. Berg completed her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1996. She further honed her skills during her residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at the Miami Heart Institute and completed her surgical training at Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee.
As a board-certified foot surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Berg is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Her dedication to her field is highlighted by her certification as a Certified Wound Specialist from the American Academy of Wound Management, equipping her with the expertise to address complex wound care needs effectively.
Dr. Berg has been practicing in Colorado Springs since 1998, where she has developed meaningful relationships with her patients. She understands that foot and ankle issues can significantly impact daily life, and she finds fulfillment in helping her patients heal and regain mobility. Her approach to care is patient-centered, emphasizing communication and collaboration to achieve the best possible outcomes.
