A board-certified orthopedic surgeon and Senior Medical Director of the Musculoskeletal Clinical Program, Dr. Chamberlain brings a wealth of expertise, particularly in shoulder and elbow management. He is affiliated with Intermountain Medical Center, LDS Hospital, Health Park City Hospital, and Heber Valley Hospital, where he continues to provide exceptional surgical care.

Dr. Chamberlain’s clinical expertise encompasses innovative surgical techniques, including advanced arthroscopic and open reconstructive surgeries. His dedication to patient care and surgical advancement positions him as a leader in the field, making him a vital asset to the orthopedic community in Utah.

Dr. Chamberlain’s educational journey began at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, where he obtained his Medical Degree in 2006. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Washington in 2011 and further honed his skills during a fellowship in shoulder and elbow reconstructive surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 2012. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, Dr. Chamberlain earned a Master of Clinical Health Services from Washington University in St. Louis in 2015 and a Master of Business Administration from the Olin Business School at Washington University in Saint Louis in 2019. 

His commitment to excellence is underscored by his board certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and active involvement in various prestigious organizations, including the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Orthopedic Association, and the Orthopedic Research Society.

Dr. Chamberlain’s accolades speak to his dedication and expertise, having received numerous awards throughout his career, including the Dorothy Rich Presidential Scholarship (1999) and the Mount Olympus String Quartet Scholarship (2001). He received the Dean’s Summer Research Fellowship and Outstanding Educator Award in Anatomy (2003) and was an Invited Guest Solo Violinist with Symphony Parnassus (2004). Inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 2005, Dr. Chamberlain also won the Best Orthopedic Teaching Resident Award (2009) and multiple Washington University Orthopedic Excellence in Education Awards (2014, 2017, 2021, 2022).

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Chamberlain enjoys a fulfilling family life with his wife and three children. He balances his medical career with traveling and personal passions such as hiking, skiing, biking, and playing the violin, showcasing his well-rounded character.
