Dr. Health is a fellowship-trained rheumatologist serving as the Director of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound at Carroll Arthritis, LLC in Westminster, Maryland. He has extensive experience with the use of diagnostic ultrasound for imaging of muscles and joints, employing state-of-the-art treatment and diagnostic modalities to optimize outcomes for his patients. 

In his approach to treating rheumatologic diseases, he brings with him a solid knowledge base, plus enthusiasm and compassion. He strives to increase the understanding of a diagnosis, which enables patients to participate more fully in their recovery, while employing therapeutic techniques to help patients feel well and function at their personal best.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Heath graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2011. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, where he attained the position of Chief Resident. 

Thereafter, he went on to complete his fellowship in rheumatology at Largo Medical Center. During his fellowship training, he lectured at multiple hospital grand rounds and directed a rheumatology lecture series for doctors in training. 

A Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR), the doctor is board-certified in rheumatology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.

With an unwavering commitment to his speciality, Dr. Heath has published numerous journal articles and chapters covering various rheumatological and general medical conditions. He has presented research posters across the country, winning first place at the American College of Physicians Associates Meeting in Florida in 2013 and at the Largo Medical Center Scholarly Activity Poster Competition in 2015.

Rheumatology is a branch of medicine devoted to the diagnosis and therapy of rheumatic diseases. Physicians who have undergone formal training in rheumatology are called rheumatologists. Rheumatologists treat arthritis, autoimmune diseases, pain disorders affecting joints, and osteoporosis.
