Abbigail is a licensed practical nurse whose areas of expertise include wound care/management, diabetic education/management, psychiatric nursing, and private duty pediatric nursing. At present, she serves as a Physiatric Nurse at the Mental Health Center of Denver in Colorado.
As such, her responsibilities include administering monthly injections and aiding with medication management. In fact, she and her colleagues travel to residences facilitated by the Mental Health Center of Denver and administer injections to those who are unable to leave due to physical or mental disability.

After earning her high school diploma from Zanesville High School in 2007, Abbigail went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice & Political Science at Muskingum University in 2010. Two years later, in 2012, she obtained her nursing degree from Mid-East Ohio Vocational School.
When asked what made her choose a career in nursing, she stated that she had always wanted to pursue a career as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE), working with forensics and helping patients overcome traumatic events.
Motivated by her family at the start of each day, Abbigail attributes her success to her previous co-workers and clinical supervisors who were supportive and educated in each area of expertise that she had decided to get into. To date, she has 3 years of experience in correctional nursing, 3 years of experience in private duty pediatric nursing, 8 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, 8 years of experience in skilled nursing, and 8 years of experience in wound care / diabetic education.
Serving as an advocate for patients in the community, Abbigail believes in listening to one another and striving for ongoing mental health improvement. She strives to treat each individual with dignity and respect, regardless of the patient’s background/history.
A licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides routine care for the sick or injured. They work under the supervision of doctors and registered nurses, performing duties such as taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medication, ensuring patient comfort, and reporting the status of their patients to the nurses.

Born in Fallbrook, California, Abbigail’s favorite place to vacation is in Utah. Her favorite movies are Star Wars, The Avengers, and several DC Comic movies. Her favorite music includes: The Grateful Dead, Phish, Atish, Oona Dahl, Black Sabbath, Santana, Mac Miller, Bassnectar, Tycho, Kendrick Lamar, Desert Hearts, Erykah Badu, and Tool.
Outside of the office, her interests include snowboarding, crystal hunting, dancing, roller skating, planting flowers, listening to records, and going to live shows.
