Abiel, who graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Augsburg University in 2023, has quickly become an influential member of the healthcare community. In January 2025, he was recognized as the Member of the Month by the Minnesota Academy of PAs (MAPA), showcasing his dedication and commitment to patient care.
Before transitioning to a career as a Physician Assistant, Abiel spent eight years as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, with his last position at Hennepin Healthcare right before the pandemic. His experiences during this challenging time solidified his decision to pursue a career as a PA. “Working through the pandemic reinforced my desire to have a greater impact on the wellbeing of my patients,” Abiel shared. His journey reflects a deep commitment to healthcare and a desire to serve the community.
In addition to his clinical work, Abiel is a Captain in the US Army Reserves, where he has served as a Clinical Laboratory Officer since March 2017. He is also preparing to take on the role of a PA in the Minnesota Army National Guard, further exemplifying his dedication to serving both his country and his community.
Abiel’s multicultural background enriches his practice; he is fluent in both English and French, allowing him to connect with a diverse patient population. Outside of his professional life, Abiel enjoys a variety of hobbies, including playing video games, building Legos with his children, running, playing soccer, and biking with his family. He cherishes the Christmas season, which he considers his favorite time of the year.
With his extensive background in clinical laboratory science, military service, and personal commitment to patient care, Abiel Adjagodo embodies the spirit of compassion and excellence in healthcare.
