After moving to the United States, she completed a surgical internship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville and Ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Hashemi also completed a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the Methodist Hospital in Houston.
Dr. Hashemi is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and she is also LASIK, Lensex and Medical Botox certified.
