His career in podiatry started in 2011 when he gained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois. This was followed by a residency at Oakwood Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, after which he entered private practice.
