She then completed her residency by serving as Chief Resident at New York Medical College. She also completed fellowships in Mohs, dermatologic surgery, lasers and cosmetic procedures.
An authority in her field, the doctor is board-certified in dermatology by the , which is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.
Active in various professional organizations, Dr. Lombardi is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
Alongside her clinical role, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Dermatology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, a Fellowship Instructor at Affiliated Dermatology where she teaches surgical techniques, and the Co-Director at Advanced Laser and Skin Cancer Center.
The author of numerous peer-reviewed journals, Dr. Lombardi has been involved with many poster presentations around the country and oral presentations in New York. In addition, she has volunteered for various organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and the Special Olympics.
