With a wealth of experience and a passion for healthcare, Alisha is dedicated to improving the lives of patients in the Saint Paul community and beyond.
Her journey in nursing began with her Associate of Arts Degree in Registered Nursing from Winona State University in 2001. Alisha quickly built upon this foundation by obtaining her Degree in Nursing Science from Century College in 2007. She further advanced her education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing – Leadership and Management, Nursing Administration from Walden University in 2018. This educational background, coupled with her hands-on experience, has equipped her with the skills necessary to excel in high-pressure environments, particularly in emergency settings.
In her current role at Regions Hospital, Alisha is not only a skilled nurse but also a leader and advocate for emergency preparedness and response and patient access to the right care at the right time and at the right location. Her expertise in patient access, emergency medicine, and pre-hospital care has made her an invaluable resource within the hospital and the community. As an active member of the Emergency Nurses Association, Alisha collaborates with other professionals to share knowledge and best practices, ensuring that she remains at the forefront of advancements in patient care.
Alisha attributes her success to her dedication to the medical profession and her patients, as well as her drive to make a greater impact in healthcare. Her life experiences have played a significant role in shaping her achievements, reinforcing her commitment to excellence. From a young age, Alisha was known as the “mother hen”, always looking out for others, which naturally inspired her passion for caregiving and ultimately led her to a fulfilling career in nursing.
