Dr. Lutter is a board-certified podiatrist in Charlottesville, Virginia, having recently joined Dr. Christopher Stewart, DPM, at Central Virginia Foot & Ankle Laser Center in August 2019. She treats a wide range of foot conditions such as bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, ankle sprains, ankle fractures, flatfoot, high arches, ingrown toenails, nail fungus, warts, diabetic limb salvage, and more. Back in 2011, Dr. Lutter graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology where she also worked as a Research Assistant in an immunotoxicology lab on campus. Thereafter, she moved to Cleveland where she obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2015. During her podiatry school training, she completed multiple externships in Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Virginia.
Next, she completed a 36-month residency focused on podiatric medicine and surgery with added credential for reconstruction of rearfoot and ankle at Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio in 2018. During her residency, she rotated on multiple services, including internal medicine, emergency medicine, infectious disease, anesthesiology, general surgery, vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, neurology, psychiatry, physical medicine & rehabilitation, pathology, and radiology. After residency, she completed an additional one-year fellowship in reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery at Kentucky/Indiana Foot and Ankle Specialists in Louisville, Kentucky in 2019.
Dr. Lutter is a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and board-qualified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. She is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association. Attributing her success to her love of the medical and scientific fields, she enjoys providing her patients with personalized care.
Outside of the office, her hobbies include playing tennis, running, painting, reading, as well as exploring the outdoors with her dog, Barney.
