Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, Dr. Panico is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). The AOBIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.

Among his professional affiliations, Dr. Panico is an active member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, the Heart Rhythm Society, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Medical Association.
