Being a board-certified and fellowship-trained infectious disease specialist, Dr. Conde-Rosa  specializes in the medical treatment of adults with HIV and all other sexually transmitted infections. She is the Medical Director of Project Response Testing and Treatment Center in Melbourne, Florida.

Project Response Testing and Treatment Center is a lifeline for people living with HIV/AIDS on the Space and Treasure Coasts. As an HIV/AIDS organization and case management agency, it strives to provide the essential services that its clients need to manage HIV disease successfully. The mission of the Project Response Testing and Treatment Center is two-fold: to enhance the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS & to prevent further spread of the disease; reduce the fear, ignorance, and discrimination surrounding AIDS; and increase community support and compassion for those affected by AIDS.

Prior to her current endeavours, Dr. Conde-Rosa worked at Health First Medical Group and at Infectious Disease Consultants of the Treasure Coast in Vero Beach. Previous to that position, she served as a hospitalist locum leader in several facilities throughout Florida, including at Lakeland Regional Hospital in Lakeland, Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, and Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after she earned her medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico in 2003. She then went on to complete her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan in 2006 and 2008, respectively.

With an unwavering commitment to her speciality, Dr. Conde-Rosa is board-certified in both internal medicine and infectious disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

To advance her professional efforts, she remains a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the American College of Physicians.

Infectious disease is a medical specialty dealing with prevention, the diagnosis, and treatment of infections. An infectious disease specialist’s practice also consists of managing nosocomial (hospital-acquired) infections.

A firm believer in working hard and being organized, Dr. Conde-Rosa’s inspiration to pursue infectious disease was sparked during the 1990 HIV epidemic. She attributes her success to God for giving her strength in all she does and is truly passionate in caring for all of her patients.
