Triple board-certified in general surgery, vascular surgery, and advanced wound care, she is also the Director of the Clinical Approach to Vascular Ultrasound Harvard Course, imparting invaluable knowledge to aspiring vascular surgeons and frequently an invited speaker internationally. 

The depth of her expertise is mirrored in her extensive body of scholarly work, comprising over 190 peer-reviewed papers and five edited textbooks in vascular surgery. Beyond her contributions to academia, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of vascular surgery through her involvement in national committees, notably with the Society for Vascular Surgery and other esteemed vascular organizations including the Society for Vascular Ultrasound Foundation of which she is the President and the South Asian Society for Vascular Surgery where she is also the current president.
