Get to know Physical Therapist Dr. Andrew Ebert, who serves patients in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Ebert is a physical therapist providing care that heals patients’ bodies and helps them to leave feeling happier. He specializes in physical treatment to reduce pain, restore mobility, rehabilitate injury, improve athlete performance, and restore overall function for all his patients. 

With a focus on whole-body treatment, his philosophy is making sure to look at and treat the patient as a whole so as not to miss any additional causes for patient symptoms and to decrease likelihood of future injuries. 

Since January of 2020, Dr. Ebert has been working at Drayer Physical Therapy Institute in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. 

Aside from his work in the clinic, he uses his knowledge to help train and coach hockey players as an Assistant Hockey Instructor at Penn State University, a position he has held since December of 2021. He also trains local high school football players to improve on field performance.

Passionate about health and wellness, Dr. Ebert enjoys working in the healthcare field in order to assist people in better understanding their health; how to make positive changes and how to find a healthy lifestyle that works for them. He is also passionate about healing people and helping get them back on their feet after injuries. 

He can treat multiple orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and sports related conditions with a focus on exercise progressions, manipulations, joint mobilizations, and massage, among other methods. He will create a treatment plan specific to each patients’ specific injury or condition, goals, and overall needs. 

After graduating with his high school diploma from State College Area High School in 2013, Dr. Ebert went on to further his education. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Health Science & his Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from Saint Francis University in 2017 and 2022, respectively. 

With a focus on the prevention and treatment of the muscles, bones, and joints, he holds an OCS certification in physical therapy.

Physical therapy, also known as physiotherapy, is one of the allied health professions. It is provided by physical therapists who promote, maintain or restore health through physical examination, diagnosis, management, prognosis, patient education, physical intervention, rehabilitation, disease prevention, and health promotion. Physical therapists are known as physiotherapists in many countries.

Among his volunteer efforts, Dr. Ebert has been serving as a Fun Fitness Student Physical Therapist at the Special Olympics (June 2018 – present), and as an Orientation Counselor at New Student Education and Integration, associated with Saint Francis University (July 2016 – present).
