He also completed his fellowship in cardiology at Jewish Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis, where he served as Chief Fellow during his final year of training.
With over 38 years of diverse experience, the doctor is board-certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. What’s more, he is board-certified in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology and holds Special Competency in Pacing/ICD from the Heart Rhythm Society.
