Dr. Jackson, a skilled otolaryngologist, is trained in the medical and surgical care of head and neck disorders. She is the CEO & President of Greater Carolina Ear Nose and Throat in Lumberton, North Carolina.

She credits her love for helping people find the best clinical solution to her continued interest in science and research. Her medical career has also allowed her to follow in her late mother’s footsteps as an educational philanthropist. Since 2017, she has been serving as a Research Professor at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. 

A native of Augusta, Georgia, Dr. Jackson is a Molecular Biology graduate from Princeton University and earned her Master of Science degree in Biology from Stanford University. She then went on to graduate with her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine before receiving her Master of Public Health degree from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health where she received the Albert Schweitzer Award and the Harvard Chair as their most outstanding student. Furthering her education, she performed her residency in general surgery at Howard University Hospital and her residency in otolaryngology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the doctor is board-certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS). The ABOHNS serves the public by assuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.

Licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee and North Carolina, Dr. Jackson is affiliated with WakeMed Health and Hospitals-Raleigh Campus, Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Scotland Health Care System-Laurinburg, Southeastern Health-Lumberton, FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
