Austin, Texas – Ethos Insurance and Risk Management is proud to highlight the remarkable career of Ann Block, RN, CCM, CRRN, CDMS, a distinguished Registered Nurse, Certified Case Manager, Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, and Certified Disability Management Specialist. With more than three decades of experience, Ann has made significant contributions to the fields of medical case management and rehabilitation nursing, particularly in the areas of spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries.
Since joining Ethos Insurance and Risk Management in February 2014, Ann has excelled in her role as an RN Case Manager, managing a caseload of 25 patients. Her dedication to disease and occupational management has led to reduced costs and improved quality of care for her patients. By collaborating closely with healthcare teams, insurance companies, and other stakeholders, Ann has successfully navigated complex medical cases, ensuring optimal outcomes through her strong clinical background and expertise.
Ann began her career after graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Louisiana Tech University in May 1978. Her initial role as a Psychiatric Nursing Supervisor at Woodland Hills Hospital in West Monroe, Louisiana, laid the foundation for her commitment to patient care and advocacy. Over the years, Ann has taken on various roles, including Registered Nurse Case Manager at IntraCorp and Unit Coordinator for Adult Psychiatric Services at North Monroe Hospital’s Psychiatric Pavilion.
In 1994, driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, Ann founded NurseWorxs, Inc., where she served as a Registered Nurse Case Manager, managing a caseload of 30-40 patients for over 20 years. Her innovative approach to healthcare delivery has shaped her career and has had a lasting impact on the industry. Ann’s dedication to leadership, patient care, and continuous improvement has earned her respect among her peers and the gratitude of countless patients.
