Dr. Piotrowski completed a residency in neurology at Stony Brook University Medical Center and a fellowship in neuro-oncology at Johns Hopkins University.

Neuro-oncology is a healthcare profession dealing with cancers of the nervous system. As a neuro-oncologist, Dr. Piotrowski collaborates with neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, nurses, and scientists to deliver state-of-the-art treatment to people with neurofibromatosis, glioblastoma, astrocytoma, oligodendroglioma, and central nervous system metastases.

With over 10 years of experience in the field, Dr. Piotrowski has treated hundreds of patients. She currently serves as the Director of Medical Student Education in the Department of Neurology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and is involved in translational research to investigate new approaches to cancer therapeutics.
