Dr. Silva-Benedict is an internist and hematology-oncologist who is currently serving patients at St. Luke’s Hospital, located in Duluth, Minnesota. Dr. Silva-Benedict has given numerous breast cancer talks throughout the community. She gave her first lecture, “Chemotherapy’s Impact: How It Affects Your Body and Mind” in St. Luke’s Understanding Cancer Survivorship: Lecture Series.
Dr. Silva-Benedict is board-certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
