She is also a recipient of the Daisy Award, which recognizes extraordinary nurses by honoring them nationally and internationally for the work they do for their patients and families every day.

A Registered Nurse is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program and met the requirements outlined by a country, state, province or similar licensing body to obtain a nursing license. RNs fulfill a variety of job duties.
