Dr. Arun C. Nair is a standout in the field of emergency medicine, where he combines superior patient care with innovative technologies to enhance medical outcomes.
Dr. Nair is a board certified emergency medicine physician in Austin, Texas, at both St David’s and Ally Medical centers. He also serves as the Chief Medical Officer at PulseTex, where he applies state-of-the-art laser technologies to advance the medical device field.
Dr. Nair obtained his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin, followed by his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in 2011. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Vanderbilt University in 2014,
and was certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in 2015. He then joined Johns Hopkins as the global health fellow and earned his Master of Public Health Degree in International Public Health and Policy in 2016. Dr. Nair continued at Johns Hopkins as academic faculty until he returned home to central Texas in 2018.
As Chief Medical Officer of PulseTex, Dr. Nair is pioneering the integration of state-of-the-art laser technologies into the medical landscape. His innovations aim to dramatically improve infection control throughout the healthcare space as well as enhance outcomes in patients with medical implants.
