Get to know Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, Aubree Richards, who serves patients in Pennsylvania.

Aubree is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, certified as a rehabilitation registered nurse, specializing in Pain Management and Rehabilitation Medicine.  She currently serves as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner at Premier Medical Rehab in Central Pennsylvania.

She possesses extensive knowledge in the scope of comprehensive pain management, spasticity, chronic migraine management, stroke, wound care, amputee, advanced inpatient diabetes, as well as traumatic brain injury services, regulations, philosophy, and clinical intervention. She is also recognized as an excellent leader and preceptor who creates a climate of learning and excellence that encourages growth and quality. 

Aubree graduated with her nursing degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  She then went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing- FNP from Chamberlain University.  Aubree works alongside Dr. Jordan A. Klein assisting patients and the community in the battle against opioid addiction, chronic pain and provide overall rehabilitation needs to provide their patients pain relief and physical barrier interventions to allow for best quality of life and longevity.  

Attributing her success to the support of her family, friends and coworkers as well as her compassion and strong work ethic, she also holds certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support – not intended for postnominal use), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), Rehabilitation Nursing, and board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  

Additionally, she is a member of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, whose mission is to promote and advance professional rehabilitation nursing practice through education, advocacy, collaboration, and research to enhance the quality of life for those affected by chronic illness or physical disability.  She is also a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation which is a national medical specialty organization representing more than 10,000 physicians and APRNs who are specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation.  Physiatry specialists treat a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. Physiatrists utilize cutting‐edge as well as time‐tested treatments to maximize function and quality of life.

An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is a nurse who has met advanced educational and clinical practice requirements, and often provides services in community-based settings. APRNs’ services range from primary and preventive care to mental health to birthing to anesthesia.
