After relocating to the United States, he completed his Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency with the SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, followed by his Neuropathy fellowship with the same institute. Furthering his training, he completed a forensic pathology fellowship with the Office of Chief Medical Examiner.
Due to his expertise, he has authored publications such as the Mechanistic pathways of the hydroxyl radical reactions of quinoline. He is licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
