Furthering his training, he performed his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s – West Hospital Center, his fellowship in hematology and oncology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, and his fellowship in neoplastic diseases and bone marrow transplantation at The Mount Sinai Hospital.

With over four decades of experience, the doctor is board-certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Well respected as an astute diagnostician and principal investigator, Dr. Abramowitz conducts phase 2 and phase 3 clinical trials in medical oncology. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
