The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from Tehran Azad University of Medicine and Science in Iran in 1999. He then performed his internship at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in 2005, and his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2008. This was followed by fellowships at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Cedars-Sinai in 2009 and 2010, respectively.
A member of the Spine Intervention Society, Dr. Shamloo is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
