She also serves as an Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Her primary research interests are in the application of cardiac genetics with cardiac imaging.
Before embarking on her professional journey, she pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Following her undergraduate studies, she sought to apply her knowledge in the field of biotechnology. After completing her MD/PhD program, she embarked on her medical residency at Mt. Sinai St. Lukes. Finally, she pursued a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Yale University, where she had the privilege of training under the esteemed Dr. Arya Mani, the director of the Yale Medicine Cardiovascular Genetics Program.
An expert in her field, the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
