After completion of these requirements, he got accepted to yet another prestigious institution, the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he did his second clinical residency in the field of Family Medicine and obtained his second board certification.
Overall, only very few postgraduate applicants from abroad pass these rigorous selection processes. Furthermore, only 10% of all positions for medical residency training are available to foreign medical graduates. Doctors from all over the world compete for these spots every year. Very few succeed.
