He then went on to complete his residency in neurological surgery and a two-year fellowship at the fourth highest-rated hospital in the country, the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, which gave him hands-on training in the treatment of complex brain tumors that originate at the base of the skull.
Finally, he completed an additional one-year fellowship in minimally invasive and endoscopic skull base surgery at the John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, California. He continues to take great pride in continuing his education in order to remain on top of the most cutting-edge treatments available for his patients.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS), the doctor is board-certified in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, whose broad aim is to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards, and advance the science of neurological surgery and thereby serve the cause of public health.
