Dr. Hormoz Golian, DDS
Dr. Golian, a board-certified pediatric dentist, is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teen years.
Growing up in southern California and following a desire to work in the healthcare profession, he pursued a career in dentistry. He graduated in 2001 from Cal State University Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and in 2005, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.
Following dental school, Dr. Golian completed a two-year residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, earning a specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry.
Committed to providing superior dental care by staying up-to-date with the latest advances and techniques in pediatric dentistry, he is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
Currently, Dr. Golian resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Natasha, who is a periodontist in Simi Valley. He enjoys playing racquetball, biking and water sports during his time outside the office.
Dr. Payam Sanjideh, DDS, MS
An orthodontic specialist, Dr. Sanjideh looks forward to helping each patient develop their most beautiful smile.
Born in Northern California, he moved to Southern California at an early age. He attended the University of California – San Diego for his undergraduate studies and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California. He then went on to complete additional training at the Baylor College of Dentistry for Orthodontics, earning his Master’s degree in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Orthodontics.
A published author on the topic of Accelerated Orthodontics, Dr. Sanjideh has given multiple presentations to the public. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
Away from the office, he is very active in the community and volunteers with Plan USA. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and soccer as well as traveling.
Dr. George Abed, DMD, MS
Energetic and personable, Dr. Abed is a skilled orthodontist who is committed to making orthodontics a fun experience for everyone involved.
A Southern California native, he attended UCLA where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psycho-Biology. After receiving his diploma, he moved to Boston, attending dental school at Harvard University and receiving his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree.
During this time Dr. Abed had the opportunity to spend one month at the dental school in the heart of Paris, gaining a whole new perspective on the profession. After dental school, he moved to Dallas where he began his orthodontic specialty training at Baylor College of Dentistry. At Baylor, he learned the most advanced techniques in orthodontics and received his orthodontic degree in addition to earning a Master’s degree in Oral Biology.
During his educational path, he conducted several research projects, authored three research articles, and presented his findings in several cities around the country.
In his free time, Dr. Abed loves to travel, having visited many countries around the world, exercise routinely, play sports, cook, and spend time with his family.
Dr. Deyanira Sánchez, DDS
Dr. Sánchez is a board-certified pediatric dentist who has the experience and qualifications to care for a child’s teeth, gums, and mouth throughout the various stages of childhood.
An L.A. native, she received accreditation for her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree as well as a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has pursued national and international training in dentistry. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pathology as well as a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Guadalajara in Mexico in 2000. During her last year of Mexican social service, she functioned as chief resident/pre-doctoral clinical instructor in prosthodontics.
Currently, Dr. Sánchez holds a part time clinical/ lecturer faculty position at UCLA where she teaches the predoctoral dental students. Moreover, she is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and is the President of the Executive Committee of the Southern California Society of Dentistry for Children.
When she is not at the office, one may find Dr. Sánchez lifting weights at the gym, practicing mixed martial arts or biking/hiking/trail running in the Santa Monica Mountains with her family and friends. She also enjoys sharing home makeover projects with her husband and musical “jam sessions” with her 2 children.
