After obtaining his Medical Degree he completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency with the University of Maryland Medical Center’s Shock Trauma Center. Wanting to further his training he completed his Orthopedic Surgery of the Spine Fellowship with the University of Louisville Leatherman Spine Center.

Dr. Ngu is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. To stay up to date in his field he remains a professional member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and the Texas Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Ngu currently practices with his private practice Premier Spine Institute, he is also affiliated with Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, Memorial Hermann Surgical Hospital Kingwood, CHI St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital, St. Luke’s Lakeside Hospital, and Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center.
