A 6th generation Texan, Dr. Mueller is ecstatic to bring modern vision correction surgery to Fort Worth as the Founder and CEO of Mueller Vision. He prides himself on being able to provide his patients better clear, crisp vision with leading surgical and refractive techniques to improve eyesight.
At Mueller Vision, he specializes in state-of-the-art laser-guided cataract surgery and advanced lens implants that reduce or eliminate the need for glasses. He also specializes in the full spectrum of vision correction surgery which includes: modern LASIK, Topography Guided LASIK, LALEX (SMILE), EVO-ICLs, Custom Lens Replacement, PRK, Topography Guided PRK, and Cross-Linking.
After receiving his Undergraduate Degree from Texas A&M University, Dr. Mueller then earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree and Ph.D. from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. His scientific work and academic accomplishments enabled him to author over 50 publications and book chapters, present at national and international meetings, be a recipient of several grants (including an NIH grant), and be both a principal investigator and sub-investigator on numerous industry-sponsored and FDA clinical trials.
Accepted to attend an ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville, Dr. Mueller developed a reputation for being a leader amongst his colleagues, serving as chief resident and a skilled surgeon. After finishing residency training, he completed a one year refractive, cataract, and anterior segment fellowship through the Refractive Surgery Alliance Fellowship Network and the World College of Refractive Surgery and Visual Sciences.
Board certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Mueller is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). The ABO is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
Among his professional affiliations, Dr. Mueller is an Associate Academic Director for the RSA Fellowship network and is a member of the Refractive Surgery Alliance Society, the American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery, and the World College of Refractive Surgery and Visual Sciences.
With a passion to improve the field of cataract surgery and LASIK eye surgery, Dr. Mueller looks forward to continuing to advance his field for his patients and his Fellows for many years to come.
Outside of the United States, he does philanthropic work performing cataract surgery in 3rd world countries.
