Brittany Amor, DDS, a Dentist with Wood Family Dentistry
Get to know Dentist Dr. Brittany Amor, who serves patients in Tempe, Arizona.
A compassionate dentist, Dr. Amor has been working in the dental field since 2013. She currently tends to patients’ dental needs at Wood Family Dentistry – one of Tempe, Arizona’s premier dental care practices.
There, she takes the time to explain the benefits and risks of each treatment she recommends. She also ensures a comprehensive treatment plan is created before each patient leaves the office. Her experiences include, but are not limited to: CEREC, implant restorative therapy, removable prosthodontics, Invisalign, endodontics, and interdisciplinary care with periodontists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons.
Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Amor graduated from Kalamazoo College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Business in 2014. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2018.
After graduating from dental school, she packed up her Jeep, and moved across the country to beautiful sunny Arizona.
Among her professional dental affiliations, she is an active member of the Arizona Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Ascend Study Club, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Since 2018, Dr. Amor has also been volunteering for Mission of Mercy Arizona.
On a more personal note, she and her husband love being active; they frequently play tennis, go hiking, rock climbing, and biking.
