Dr. Murray is a licensed psychologist who specializes in clinical neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation. She is currently transitioning from her position as a rehabilitation neuropsychologist at Halifax Health/Brooks Rehabilitation Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation in Daytona Beach, Florida into her role as the Founding Owner and Director of her own private practice in Port Orange.

She also specializes in the neuropsychological assessment of individuals suffering traumatic brain injury, stroke, cancers, multiple sclerosis, cardiovascular disease, as well as other medical and neurological conditions impacting behavior and cognition.
As a specialist in rehabilitation neuropsychology, Dr. Murray has expertise in providing psychotherapy to individuals with medical conditions such as traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, stroke, and other disabling conditions. She further provides counseling and guidance to their family members and caregivers. While she is inclined towards cognitive behavioral therapy, she is well versed in dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. She also has experience working with highly challenging populations including chronically mentally ill offenders and foster cases and DCFS involved children, families, and adults.
Known within her regional area of specialty practice for her work, Dr. Murray utilizes animal assisted neuropsychotherapy with her trained mobility service dog, Frankie, to promote the recovery of altered brain functions as a result of degenerative conditions such as stroke or trauma.
Alongside maintaining a private clinical practice, she provides consultation at nursing homes, independent and assisted living facilities, and inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation units. Moreover, she is a member of a forensic psychology network, providing neuropsychological assessment and expert witness testimony as part of an expanding medical malpractice work nationwide for children who have suffered compensable birth-related injuries, and is assisting with the expansion of neuropsychology evaluations to the adult population.
Academically, Dr. Murray earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with advanced specialization in neuropsychology and forensic psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Schaumburg Campus. Her training includes a two-year post-doctoral residency in clinical neuropsychology that is commensurate with the Houston Conference Guidelines through Patrick W. Gorman, Psy.D. LLC and a predoctoral internship in neuropsychology/health and rehabilitation through Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Continuously advancing her efforts, she is a member of the American Psychological Association’s Divisions of Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology, the International Neuropsychological Society, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, as well as the Illinois and Florida Psychological Associations.
