Dr. Austin’s acclaimed career in dentistry began in 1975, when he graduated from the University of Queensland Dental School. Following the completion of dental school, he spent three years as a Dental Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force, before undertaking oral and maxillofacial surgery training and working as a lecturer at the University of Sydney, Faculty of Dentistry. Thereafter, Dr. Austin completed his Master’s Degree in Dental Science in 1987, followed by his fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
To stay current with the latest advances in dentistry, he remains a professional member of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Australian Dental Association. He lectures for the University of Sydney, and is an adjunct Senior Lecturer for the Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implants and Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry at the Charles Sturt University.
