Dr. Valeri graduated with his Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School. After obtaining his Medical degree he completed his internal medicine residency with the Tufts Medical Center and the Boston University Medical Center. Wanting to further his training he then completed his Hematology fellowship with the Boston University Medical Center.
Dr. Valeri is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. To stay up to date in his field he remains a Fellow of the American Society for Clinical Investigation and the American College of Physician. He currently is a researcher with Boston University School of Medicine Naval Blood Research Lab and holds an affiliation with both the Boston University School of Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine.

It includes problems with the red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, blood vessels, bone marrow, lymph nodes, spleen, and the proteins involved in bleeding and clotting (hemostasis and thrombosis).
