Dr. Woolums is board-certified in Urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU). Dr. Woolums received his medical degree and completed his residency in urology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky.

Dr. Woolums is an experienced robotic surgeon who has performed many surgeries using the Da Vinci Surgical System. Having successfully completed the first UroLift procedure in West Virginia, he has been designated a UroLift Center of Excellence Physician.
