Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Dalton II graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Western Michigan University. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2004.
He is a longstanding member of the Georgia Optometric Association (and currently serves as the District 9 President) and the American Optometric Association. He also loves to do mission work whenever he gets time free, and has spent many years going to Nicaragua with BASIC Nicaragua.

Happily married, Dr. Dalton II and his wife, Larisa, have two daughters and a puppy named Izzy. He enjoys spending his free time outdoors, often hiking waterfalls, running, and working on his BBQ skills.
