Specializing in dental implants, surgery, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, as well as preventative care, Dr. Lau is renowned in the field and adored by his patients. His entrepreneurial side shines as co-owner of Mid-Valley Dental Care and co-founder of ELIMS – a new oral care brand dedicated to delivering brilliant smiles while greatly reducing waste.
Bringing his experience and best-in-practice knowledge to every project, patients really appreciate his patience and his ability to put people at ease by clearly explaining dental treatments in advance.
Following the completion of his undergraduate studies, Dr. Lau earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA in 2002. That same year, he began practicing dentistry in the Northridge area, building a valuable reputation with patients over the years. He strives to make each patient feel at home when they come to Mid-Valley Dental Care for treatment, and he works hard to give his patients the attention they deserve.
After two decades in dentistry, the UCLA-educated doctor is constantly evolving and innovating both personally and professionally. Attending several courses each year to stay current on the latest technology and dental treatments, he has received advanced training in implant dentistry, orthodontics, Invisalign®, and oral sedation.
Always learning, he is a member of the following organizations: the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the International Association for Orthodontics, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Feeling truly blessed to live and work in such a wonderful community, Dr. Lau enjoys getting to know his patients and their families, and it is always such an honor to know that he has made a difference in so many of his patients’ lives. He couldn’t ask for a better job or for a better group of people to be sharing their smiles with him.

Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Happily married, Dr. Lau and his wife, Belinda, have two sons, Brayden and Ryan. In addition to dentistry, his passions include martial arts and snowboarding. He is an avid sports fan, and enjoys cheering on UCLA’s football and basketball teams, the Hockey Kings, and the Lakers.
