Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) is a subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology that focuses on managing health concerns of the mother and fetus prior to, during, and shortly after pregnancy. Maternal-fetal medicine specialists are physicians who subspecialize within the field of obstetrics. For pregnant women with chronic health problems or other complications during their pregnancy, MFM specialists work to keep them as healthy as possible while their bodies carry a pregnancy. Originally from Battle Creek, Michigan, Dr. Clark-Ganheart has made Kansas City her home. Outside of work, she treasures spending time with her husband, Michael, and their three active sons. She is an avid gardener and enjoys volunteering at their local church garden.
