Dr. Gray is a skilled orthopedic surgeon specializing in degenerative conditions of the hip and knee, as well as complex cases involving failed joint replacement surgeries. Practicing at the Florida Orthopedic Institute’s Ocala and Gainesville offices, he is committed to restoring his patients’ mobility and improving their overall quality of life.

Pertaining to his educational pursuits, he received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, where he graduated with honors and was elected to the AOA Medical Honors Society. He completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University before furthering his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, where he served as Academic Chief Resident during his residency. His specialized fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee was completed at the prestigious University of California San Francisco.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Gray holds the position of Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He actively participates in leadership roles within several prominent national organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, contributing to advancements in the field of orthopedic surgery.
Prior to joining the Florida Orthopedic Institute, he was the division chief and William Petty Endowed Professor in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Florida. His dedication to research is evident in his publications focused on enhancing patient care, including improving patient-reported outcomes and pain control in hip and knee surgeries.
