Cheryl is an advanced practice registered nurse who works at Rockingham Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice in Exeter, New Hampshire. Continuing her education, she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Simmons University in 2020.

With a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry, Cheryl is skilled in healthcare management, home health care, wound care, clinical research, pediatrics, and patient education. 

In addition, she is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The ANCC Family Nurse Practitioner board certification examination is a competency based examination that provides a valid and reliable assessment of the entry-level clinical knowledge and skills of nurse practitioners.

In order to advance her professional efforts, Cheryl remains a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, which is the second-largest nursing organization in the world with approximately 135,000 active members. 

An advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) is a nurse who has obtained at least a master’s degree in nursing. APRNs may work across various healthcare settings, including hospitals, ambulatory clinics or long-term care facilities. They provide medical support and preventative care to patients, along with additional responsibilities of coordinating patient care and using specialized knowledge to manage complex patient conditions. APRNs can diagnose and treat as well as order and interpret tests and prescribe medications.

Happily married, Cheryl enjoys gardening, camping, hiking, and baking when she is not working.
