With a career spanning several decades, Cindy has dedicated her life to providing outstanding care for critically ill patients, including those in medical, surgical, and cardiac units. 

Her academic journey began with her graduation from Johnstown Monroe High School in 1988. Cindy then attended Wheaton College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical & Theological Studies with a Pre-Nursing focus, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1992. Driven by a passion for nursing, she continued her education at Rush University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1994.

Currently, Cindy serves as a Charge Nurse and has ascended to Clinical Ladder Level 3, a testament to her expertise and commitment to nursing excellence. Her role enables her to not only provide critical care but also to lead and mentor fellow nurses, ensuring the highest standards of patient care are upheld. 

Cindy’s dedication to her patients is evident in her holistic approach to care, focusing on the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of her patients and their families during some of the most challenging times of their lives. She is an active member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the world’s largest specialty nursing organization, which allows her to stay current with best practices and innovations in critical care nursing.

Throughout her career, Cindy has exemplified patient advocacy and compassion, making a meaningful impact on the lives of those she serves. Her commitment extends beyond the hospital walls, as she continually seeks opportunities for professional development and community involvement.

When she is not providing exceptional care to her patients, Cindy enjoys reading, traveling, and engaging in strategy games, which reflect her analytical mindset and love for learning.
