Ruby graduated with her nursing degree and as a certified registered nurse from the University of Winnipeg. Furthering her education she completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix. To stay up to date in her field, she remains a professional member of the Association for Nurses in  Professional Development, American Holistic Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, International Transplant Nurses Society, and the National Nurses in Business Association. She has been a practicing nurse since 1991, giving her over two decades of experience in her field.

Ruby attributes her professional success to her passion for education and learning new things to improve things for herself, other nurses and patients. When not working, she enjoys practicing yoga, doing self-care, and using aromatherapy, and essential oils.

Nurse coaching is a skilled, purposeful, results-oriented and structured client interaction that is provided by Registered Nurses for the purpose of promoting achievement of client goals. Nurse coaches promote and facilitate the growth, healing and wellbeing of the whole person by using coaching principles and healing modalities that integrate body-mind-emotion-spirit-environment. Nurse coaches are required to have several years of nursing education and experience as a foundation to developing their coaching skills.
