Experience: Kathleen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified Family Trauma Professional. To stay up to date in her field she remains a professional member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals. She also has over 30 years experience working with Autism Spectrum and other neuro-cognitive disorders.
Current Position: Kathleen is now in private practice at Safe Waters Mental Recovery. She holds an expertise in trauma and adult autism, with a primary focus on abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and life events that change us forever.
Safe Waters Mental Recovery: Using a variety of therapeutic methods, Kathleen uses real life events, fun exercises, and a wealth of experience to make therapy practical and productive. Therapy is intended to actively relieve or reduce symptoms, with a goal toward healthy recovery. Kathleen works in a cooperative approach that helps you achieve your goals and a fulfilling life
Personal: Kathleen attributes her professional success to her extreme passion about her clients recovery and having the utmost respect for what they’ve been through. She is a mother of five. When she is not working she enjoys singing in the Coeur d Alene Chorus of Sweet Adeline International.
