Denise began her impressive career in home health care after earning her certification from Pike-Lincoln Technical Center. Her journey began in Home Health in Jefferson City Missouri where she served at Capital Region Medical Center traveling the surrounding areas visiting patients in their homes and providing skilled nursing services.
Her next assignment in Home Health was in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she served as a Home Health LPN with Jewish Family Services from June 2010 to March 2012. During this time, she provided private duty care for a bed-bound, ventilated ALS patient, demonstrating her ability to deliver specialized care with empathy and professionalism.
Following her initial role, Denise continued her dedication to the field with Atlantic Home Health Care, LLC, from April 2012 to March 2017. Here, she further honed her skills while caring for another bed-bound ALS patient. Denise also worked with All 4 One Home Healthcare during this period, where she provided comprehensive in-home nursing services, including wound care, medication and disease management, care planning, and detailed documentation, showcasing her versatility and commitment to patient-centered care.
In September 2017, Denise joined Mississippi Homecare, where she expanded her responsibilities to include patient care coordination and communication with healthcare providers until March 2020. Her transition to Coastal Family Health Center as a Triage Nurse and Interim Call Center Supervisor marked another significant chapter in her career. In this role, she scheduled vital healthcare services for underinsured individuals while managing triage responsibilities, demonstrating her commitment not only to her patients but also to the community at large.
