Dr. Laizure is a dentist, speaker, author, and the founder of the Walla Walla Dental Care in Walla Walla, Washington. During his 40 year career, Dr. Laizure has been instrumental in training over 200 dentists from most of the United States, Canada, and several countries in Europe and Asia.
Dr. Laizure has served on the Washington State Board of Dental Examiners and the Washington Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Laizure is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). Founded in 1952, the AGD is the only professional association that exclusively represents the needs and interests of general dentists. The mission of the AGD is to “advance general dentistry and oral health through quality continuing education and advocacy.”
Dr. Laizure is a veteran of the armed forces and served in both the Army National Guard and the U.S. Navy as a Dental Officer. He was selected by three branches of the military to receive an “Armed Forces Health Professionals Scholarship”.
Dr. Laizure has received a congressional medallion by the United States Congress.
Dr Laizure is a honor graduate of the Oregon Health Sciences School of Dentistry. He is also a recipient of several citations and recognition, including membership in Delta Phi Omega, the Mosby Scholarship Book Award, the Academy of General Dentistry Award, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award for Scholastic Achievement, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Award, and the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators Award.
Dr. Laizure always finds time to donate his time and resources to local charities and service clubs. He is an active member of Lions Club International and a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International. He holds quarterly “Smiles for Veterans” day, which is a free dentistry day dedicated to veterans.
