Striving to provide the finest quality dental care available today, Dr. Cohen is the Owner & Operator of South Florida Dental Center, which he opened in 2021.
An Invisalign certified dental surgeon with a natural eye for detail, he believes that every patient has their own needs and expectations, and therefore deserves treatment customized to the person and not the problem. He is also proficient at communicating and presenting treatment plans to patients while providing supporting evidence from the literature.
South Florida Dental Center, located in Coral Springs, is a modern dental clinic specialized in advanced diagnostics and treatment of dental and oral disorders. It offers comprehensive services from all fields of dentistry, including but not limited to root canals, dental implants, composite fillings, and cosmetic dental services.
Born and raised in Warren, New Jersey, Dr. Cohen received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The Pennsylvania State University. Following Penn State, he studied at New York University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He was then accepted into and attended one of the most prestigious and competitive General Practice Residencies at Kings County Hospital Center, where he became proficient in full mouth reconstruction and implant placement.
Prior to opening his private practice, he split his time working at two unique dental practices in Brooklyn and Upper West Side, New York.
Paying a great deal of attention to the aesthetics in life, which he incorporates into his work, Dr. Cohen is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
In his free time, Dr. Cohen enjoys painting, exercising, rooting for Penn State sports, and spending time with his nephews. His favorite place to vacation is in Aruba.
