Dr. Neibaur is a specialist in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery with advanced technology lenses such as the ReSTOR, TECNIS, and Crystalens intraocular lenses in order to reduce patients’ dependence on eyeglasses. At Nevada Eye Physicians in Las Vegas, he provides diagnostic eye exams and surgical procedures for the treatment of cataracts. 

Nevada Eye Physicians offers eight locations throughout Nevada, including Las Vegas, Mesquite, Henderson, Pahrump, and Boulder City. Each location is led by highly skilled and experienced eye care physicians who provide comprehensive treatments and examinations. With the innovative, state-of-the-art technology at the facilities, the eye care specialists are able to perform more accurate and efficient treatments and surgical procedures using advanced techniques. 

With a devotion to his patients, Dr. Neibaur is a highly sought-after professional in his field. He is certified in the I-stent, which is implanted during cataract surgery to help control eye pressure. He is also one of the first ophthalmologists in Nevada to be certified on the LENSAR femtosecond system.

After earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008, Dr. Neibaur went on to complete his internship and residency at Valley Hospital through Touro University in 2012. During the last year of his residency, he was honored to serve as the chief resident among his peers. 

As a member of many prestigious medical organizations, he continues to share his work and expertise with his colleagues. He is a member of the Nevada Osteopathic Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, Sigma Sigma Phi, the Chi Chapter Honor Society, the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

The doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, whose mission is to serve the public by improving the quality of ophthalmic practice through a process of certification and Maintenance of Certification that fosters excellence and encourages continual learning. He is also a Fellow of the Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology (FOCOO), as well as remains affiliated with Stone Creek Surgery Center.  

Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine and surgery, which deals with the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders. Ophthalmologists are experts in the diseases, functions, and anatomy of the eye. They may provide routine care such as vision testing, as well as prescribe and fit eyeglasses or contact lenses. However, ophthalmologists are also surgeons. They repair traumatic injuries to the eye and perform cataract, glaucoma, and corneal surgery.

Among his ongoing contributions, Dr. Neibaur has published various papers and presentations over the years. During his time at Virginia Tech, he volunteered as a Certified Red Cross Relief Counselor and currently donates his time to the Lions Club Ophthalmology Free Clinic, as well as the UMC Ophthalmology Free Clinic.
